Title: Traveling to Mexico with Nut Allergy
Post by: Jrisavy on March 28, 2012, 06:22:49 PM
Hi, I'm new here.  We would like to plan a trip to Mexico with our 17y/o son who has severe nut allergies, allergic to ALL NUTS.  has anyone been recently with success?  I have contacted the resort and they assure me that they deal well with this however I have read some tripadvisor reviews that say its not so.  Other reviews say they've had no problems.  Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thank you

Welcome! We went to a resort south of cancan two years ago and had no issues. My son is allergic to dairy eggs and peanuts. Just stay away from mole (pronounced mo-lay) sauce. It is peanut based.

Eta, my son is not contact reactive to any of his allergies. Your situation may be different.
