Title: IKEA Meatballs
Post by: SilverLining on February 16, 2014, 04:59:35 PM
Does anyone know if IKEA meatballs contain garlic?  They list spices.

I don't know. I eat them. They package them to sell. Next time I'm there I'll look at a package.

Oh wait.  If they list spices that wouldn't help. I can't imagine they would not contain garlic.

I didn't even know IKEA sold food.  I'm asking for someone else.  She asked and they didn't know if garlic was in it or not.  She plans to contact head office, but was hoping for answers if anyone knows,

IDK, but I cannot imagine any meatball not containing garlic.

They're Swedish meatballs, so they might *not* have garlic.  But this is definitely something to call and ask about.

I wonder if it's worth starting with the PR person who handled the US market concerns about the horsemeat scandal?  Might know exactly who to contact about other ingredients.  Or not.
