Title: News Article - Nearly 50 per cent of imported Asian food 'loaded with undeclared
Post by: gufyduck on December 03, 2019, 01:57:20 PM
I found this news article on another site, talking about undeclared allergens in imported Asian foods.  It is from Australia, but could see this as a world wide issue.

Many of our recalls due to undeclared allergens are for imported Asian products, so this comes as no surprise.  It's why we avoid anything imported from Asia unless we can get clear facility information.  Frightening!

Gufy, thank you for sharing this.  I've shared it on Social Media.

This is something I've always been aware of, and am careful about purchasing imported food - I never, ever buy food imported from Asia, but people who don't live our life really don't understand this.  Hopefully they will read it, and be a bit closer to "getting it".
