The only place I've stayed and eaten in Toronto recently was at the Toronto Marriott, right next to the Toronto Eaton Centre (shopping mall).  They were able to accommodate multiple food allergies, intolerances, and preferences in our group of 40-50 people for a week without incident.  The food was good, but nothing to write home about.  The table service was excellent.

If Niagara Falls a popular destination for Japanese tourists then a lot of those. That's Golden Week timeframe.
