Totally off topic but I just saw your signature line. How are the new scentys scents? I've heard some are pretty amazing. I want to try the french toast one sometime.

The ones I've smelled are so nice!  Love Scentsy.. except right now I'm currently going through some nasty morning sickness, so nothing smells/tastes good to me!!!  lol

I know this is Off Topic and I will get flogged but does that mean what I think it means

Haha yes it does ;)  As long as it's a sticky bean! ;)

I love cotton candy, but I'm not a fan of that Charms Fluffy Stuff.  Ironically, it's too dense and not airy and fluffy.  It doesn't melt in your mouth like real cotton candy.

I always see safe cotton candy at Dollar Tree and Walgreens.. never really saw it at Walmart.. this crap would hurt my teeth so bad!  ouch.

They used to sell it at walmart and walgreens here but neither one have it anymore. There's no Michaels here, luckily (or I'd be broke). I'll have to check dollar tree again but we were there the other day and perused the candy aisle (I still keep hoping they'll have coffee crisp again) and didn't see it.

Dollar Tree also carries it.

I found Fun Sweets Cotton Candy that per a call to the manufacturer is peanut, milk and gluten free facility.  They have mini bags that I purchased at BJ's.

LOVE cotton candy!  dd does too.  It is her staple thing we do get at fairs, etc... if we can read a label, or if the fresh stuff is at a stand alone vendor with nothing else.  We hardly ever see the Charms Fully Stuff around here, either.

We found it at Michael's.

It was with all of their other "vintage/novelty/retro" candy.  They also have Pop Rocks (I think I even saw some bilious packaging for Halloween yesterday), Razzles, Sixlets, and Smarties.

I love that stuff. I buy a bag and eat the whole thing by myself and love every bit of it. ;D But it's not very easy to find around here so I don't have it often.

www.tootsie.com

DD pronounced it:

ewwwwwwww.... like eating sugar-flavored spiderwebs.

I countered with "Well, I have personally always felt that it was much more like eating, say.... Owens-Corning insulation which tastes like sugar."

She pitched most of it-- too sweet even for her, I guess.

In fairness, it's not really like the REAL thing at a carnival.  It's a little stale and compressed.  Meh.  But to a kid who's never really going to EAT cotton candy at a carnival (e.g. "MFA") this is a good find.
