Title: Easy allergy friendly BBQ sauce recipe
Post by: joshsmom on January 15, 2014, 07:57:22 AM
1 (12oz) can cola flavored carbonated beverage
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup minced onion (I used dry and a little less)
Garlic powder to taste
1/2 tsp hot pepper sauce (I left out since my child doesn't like hot stuff)

In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cook over medium heat until it has reduced by a third and has thickened. It will also thicken more once it starts to cool.

We put this on pork ribs on the grill and it was amazing! My sons first time having bbq sauce and pork ribs. He loved it!
