Some of their cereals were made with peanut butter.  They might still be.

I called a very long time ago and it was not safe.  They used both peanut butter and peanut butter chips in their manufacturing facility.

I have not called recently.

Yes, they manufacture Puffins peanut butter cereal, and Puffins peanut butter and chocolate cereal.  I would think the cereals are not safe as I would bet it is shared lines.

They also make peamut butter cookies

There's something niggling in the back of my mind about Barbara's --- I can't remember exactly what, but it prevented me from buying it for my two kids.  Peanut cross-contam or something like that.

Sigh. It is so hard to get dd to understand that things can be risky even when the label looks ok.

Think that they had a fairly recent recall, actually.

I'm guessing GN is right.

Many moons ago I called on their Oatmeal Squares cereal, because the label read OK.  But they were made on shared equipment or some such thing, so we never got them again.

Dang, they were delicious.  I hope they've changed their policy and are labeling responsibly now.  If they are owned by the Evil Empire Hain, I wouldn't count on it.

Dd tells me she tried one at a friend's home.  Blueberry Blast.  Label read ok.  Just wondering if anyone uses these.  I can contact them, but figured I would ask.  There were no warnings or nut ingredients according to her.  I always worry about her trying new things like that, but she is here to tell the tale, and she did read the label.

She loved them and has interest in them.  i am looking for lower sugar options and i am not sure this is low sugar.  But anyway, checking if anyone uses this brand.
