Title: Asian food -- tofu and sesame oil
Post by: Mezzo on July 19, 2012, 08:32:06 AM
Here's me sorting out peanut issues for Asian foods again.  Clearly these won't be things the soy and sesame allergic among us will use.

If you deal with PA, which brands of tofu and toasted sesame oil have you used?  I see Mori-nu and Sunrise tofu listed in a cooking thread.

Last I checked, Nasoya was safe for PA/TNA.  But that was quite a while ago.  I can't help you with sesame oil, though.

I think Eden sesame oil is safe but I haven't used it. I would double check, obviously.

I've been using Nasoya tofu and Eden sesame oil and haven't had a problem.  Not that my son will eat  tofu anyway!
