Title: Costco Mini French Baguettes are back!
Post by: luci on October 25, 2011, 01:31:31 PM
Last year we were so pleased with these baguettes.  They are great with good olive oil, and also pretty good with the Kirkland Signature olive oil (cheaper).  These are the baguettes you buy from the freezer section they are packaged in pairs and there are 10 mini-baguettes (about 10-12 inches long) in each box.  You take them out of the freezer and set them on the counter while your oven is pre-heating.  Then bake for about 10 minutes.  Really crisp on the outside.  And really the only option we have if we want good baguettes since we can't buy from any of the "artisanal bakeries" you find at the grocery stores because of the risk of cross contamination.

I think the label on the box states that it's made in a peanut/treenut free factory.
