Title: Medications and supplements in US
Post by: YouKnowWho on September 20, 2011, 01:23:05 PM
The Lactaid thread has me wondering and maybe you guys know better than I do.  I thought medications and supplements were not required to label for the top-8.  I know we have been back and forth at another board about one med having coconut in it (offhand I cannot remember but it's a generic formula) and anger about the lack of labeling.  But I thought meds and meats fell into the "If we wanna tell you we will".  Obviously they don't have to disclose shared lines and facilities because the FDA is a bunch of idiots.

Anyone know?

The last I understood was that they didn't have to label it.

However, if it is an RX med, my pharmacy checks it all out for me because I always check with them. I love them for doing so. :)
