It is so hard when tests have conflicting results that can get our hopes up. I am glad he has testing and may have the opportunity for OIT. Best of luck.

DS (16) may have outgrown all his allergies besides peanut! We are still waiting for blood tests, but ALL SPT were negative! He was allergic to Peanuts, egg (outgrown at 5), almonds, pecan & walnuts (all outgrown), hazelnuts, cashews, pistachios and sesame. They are planning on a food challenge for cashews soon. Our Allergist is just starting an immunology for peanuts! As soon as it is set up my son will start that.  :happydance:

UPDATE:
Still severely allergic to cashews, pistachios and hazelnuts. 😭 and they didn't run the sesame!
Will  now have challenges to pine nuts, Brazil nuts and macadamias nuts. We will move forward with I immunotherapy for peanuts.
