I'm very envious.  My DS passed a baked milk challenge but refuses to eat anything with baked milk.  <sigh>  So glad to hear of kids who are doing it and are doing well!!!

I am very happy to report that both kids gobbled up their milky muffins today with no issues whatsoever !!!  Tomorrow they will try some plain goldfish or maybe a Thomas' English Muffin!

Thank you all so much for the well wishes and congratulations. I'm still a nervous wreck but its looking very good!

Both kids passed!!!  Cautiously optimistic.  Kids are excited!

It's going well.  Both kids are an entire muffin each. 1/6 cup of milk baked in each muffin.  DD got stuffy so they slowed her down but she are the whole thing.  We are just waiting now.  I'm sure we will get sprung right around rush hour.  We may go to the Met for a bit til the traffic calms down.

Still checking... I know it's early still, and no news right now is probably good news (at least I hope so).

Both kids are scheduled for a baked dairy challenge at Mt. Sinai next Friday.  Hoping both can pass but trying not to get our hopes up.

I'm sorry for the disappointment, MaryM.  But it does sound like baked milk would be possible.    :grouphug:

CM - I think he would definitely tolerate traces.  He had 3 1/2 spoonfuls yesterday and got hives (small ones) on his chin.  He didn't even really notice them.  Our pediatrician (who I took him to yesterday after the reaction) really encouraged us to do baked dairy.  I may call and leave a message for the allergist - his nurse told me no more dairy for now.  I'm confused but my gut says to try baked dairy.  DS seems totally fine & happy today.  Yesterday there were tears then he was very stoic & then more tears.  Thankfully we were able to go to a friends house & he had a great time.
