Wow. Here's what they sent me. Not nearly as clear as yours (but it took almost 2 mos to get a reply).

Thank you for contacting DeMet's Candy Company with your inquiry. All of our packages carry a statement with relevant allergen information, including disclosures about shared equipment.

Regards,

Comments: Can you tell me if you label your products with a warning if they are made in a shared facility with items containing peanuts or tree nuts? thank you.

I finally got a response from my email on October 15...

Dear           :

Thank you for contacting DeMet's Candy Company regarding your inquiry.

All of our packaging contains relevant allergy information, and we exercise great care in the production and packaging of our products. While our everyday packages of FLIPZ carry a warning regarding peanuts, the Halloween Treat Bag is manufactured entirely in a peanut-free facility. The facility is NOT tree nut free, so if you have a sensitivity to tree nuts we advise you to avoid this product.

Thank you again for contacting us with your question.  As a gesture of thanks we are sending you some coupons!  Kindly allow 7-10 business days for your coupons to arrive in the mail. We hope our products will satisfy you in the future.

Sincerely,

DeMet’s Candy Company

Oh, We have a Kmart.  What do these look like?  A bag of mini sized servings?

I emailed them a while back. End of August. I sent this:

Can you tell me if you label your products with a warning if they are made in a shared facility with items containing peanuts or tree nuts? thank you.

they sent this on October 10th. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry:

It's a little vague for me so I'd be interested to hear what others have found out.

I bought them and have emailed them because there is no information about tree nuts.

I bought them, I'm nervous cause I'm worried about sesame.  I found a number to call and she said there is no sesame but she sounded like she was 15 and answered right away without looking up anything, and I don't fell 100%.  Anyone eat these with a sesame allergy?

I'll have to keep my eyes open for it around here.

I'm not home at the moment, but the bag said "made in peanut fee facility" . My assumption was that because it was a specialty item ( clearly meant for Halloween) it was made in a different facility.

Interesting...does it say anything about tree nuts?  On line, their info still says made on the same equipment as pn & tn.  Might be worth a call.

When the bags of Halloween start showing up, I'm always on the lookout for safe single serve pretzels... In my area that seems to be the only time I can find them. Yesterday I found single serve bags of Flipz chocolate covered pretzels with a peanut free logo on them. It's so pathetic how emotional it makes me when I find a new product with that logo!
