Very interesting. I will say that elder DS had a couple of consistently stubborn patches of eczema. He had a few FA's which were mostly outgrown by age 2.

Younger DS had widespread eczema, chronically inflamed skin from the get go. As an adult he still has his FA's.

This article by Snack Safely details a recent finding in New Zealand on the connection if skin to FAs. Said to be the most significant finding on FAs in NZ in 20 years.
