The company said that chocolate peanut butter flavor bars, individually wrapped and bearing correct labels, were mistakenly put in 5-count boxes labeled as chocolate flavor Fiber One 90-Calorie Chewy Bars.

General Mills did not disclose the exact number of packages that are affected by the recall but said it encompasses only a single day's production of the product.

OK< here's link to their nutritional info for the item that has been recalled:

Tried to capture and post, but not working.

I do NOT see any mention of may contain or shared lines or shared facility.

From the opening post:

Because of a production error

I'm wondering if somehow the wrong PACKAGING (the choc version) got loaded onto the line for the choc-pnut version and that's how this happened?

But again, makes me wonder if shared facility and not divulged?

Scary as hell.   :o

Wow.   :o

So, what I have to wonder is whether or not the product label at least includes a "may contain" statement.

Does anyone know?

No idea.  If I get to grocery store later today I will *try* to go look at these to see if any left on shelves and to see if labeled with "may contain" or shared facility (in some form or another).

Yes, I'd really like to know this too.  Many of us would, I'd suspect.
