This is the base recipe I started with... and tweaked it, we also make a huge quantity of it so that we have some left over

1/2 large green cabbage, I hand chop it thin, but you can prepare however you like
1/2 large purple cabbage
2 carrots shredded (I used a large handful of pre shredded carrots, sometimes the whole bag)
1 jalapeno diced

I double the dressing listed below, I also make it the night before

1 TBS white sugar
2 TBS brown sugar
1.5 tsp ground mustard
1 tsp kosher salt (I don't double this)
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp celery seed
2 TBS olive oil
1/4 C white vinegar
