I bet the sign was from the store...that the employee who put the display together has a wheat allergy or a relative with a wheat allergy.

Yesterday I was at Stop n Shop, and they had a table display of some new L'Oreal Hair Care products. 

Next to the display was a prominent sign warning that the products contained allergens, and that customers with food allergies should read the labels carefully.  When I read the label, I saw several references to wheat protein.

Hmmmmm, wonder if they were sued?  Am I a total cynic for thinking this?
