I resemble some of those at the moment.  Freakin' hives.

Also, the henna pictures are to fake henna, not the real thing.  So-called "black henna", which is PPD (that much was mentioned, but not that it wasn't the plant's fault).

Scary, indeed.  We also need to remember that not all allergic reactions present outward symptoms like hives or swelling (or vomiting, for that matter).

I agree.  And so many I have seen IRL in my family.
