Reporting in from our weekend swim meet... we ended up eating the first night at 99 Restaurant which we would label as mediocre at best, but the food is safe.  We brought breakfast and lunch fixings with us to make getting out the door in the mornings easier.  Also had tons of snacks.

Second night we ate at an Italian place called Lui Lui. They make the rolls in house.  They have large entree salads with nuts so we inquired if they could make a safe side salad.  Our waitress was concerned about cross contamination so checked with the chef.  She reported back that nuts are kept separately and pre portioned out in small bags.  We ordered two different kinds of pizza so we took home lots of leftover which we proceeded to eat for lunch on the car ride home.  Although DS was full from many rolls, salad and pizza, he asked if there were any safe desserts.  Waitress consulted with the chef again...they do purchase some from outside sources so those were a no go, but they also make 2 in house...creme brle and chocolate mousse.  DS ordered the mousse.  He was a happy camper and wanted me to tip our waitress more especially since she sent us home with extra rolls.

A manager had been visiting tables as we ate including ours so on our way out we were passing him and I thanked him for keeping the nuts separate.  He said it was important to them and take it very seriously.

Its also a favorite place of a friend who has celiac, they have a great selection of GF dishes.

Our hotel was also near a food co-op that carried Vermont Nut Free chocolate so picked up some of the bars and chocolate covered pretzels.

We will be in the area for a swim meet in a couple weeks...anyone have any restaurant suggestions?  DS is TNA only

I heard they are building a 110 Grill in West Lebanon and have emailed the GM to see if they have an opening date yet.
