Please sign this petition to the FDA requiring better labeling of seeds.  It is focused on sesame, but also urges the FDA to look at all "seeds" as a category, much like they already do for "tree nuts".  Anyone can sign this informal petition on, but the more signatures, the more they will take notice.

FYI:  This informal petition led to a more formal "citizen's petition" by CSPI, which is not the type that take signatures, but rather, is the type the FDA must reply to by law!

Again, here's where to sign the original petition that started it all:

me - deadly - took ages to figure out what it was, as it's in everything - at first we thought, sesame, but eventually got it to flax - if I touch it, i'm done. If I walk in a healthfood store, I can dash to the aisle to buy the one thing i want and i have to leave right away - i'm so very allergic to it. Last time I touched a flaxseed to my lips (in a breakfast bar, back when i could eat nuts), i was unconscious for 6 hours and woke up with chest pains - I must have been struggling to breathe. Terrible.
