Title: March 24, 2011: Unified Grocers "Cottage Hearth" & "7 Select" Wheat Breads (US)

Unified Grocers is recalling "Cottage Hearth Stone Ground Wheat Bread" and "7 Select 100% Whole Wheat Bread" due to undeclared milk.

Cottage Hearth breads were distributed to select independently owned and operated retail grocery stores in Arizona and Southern California. 7 Select breads were distributed to select 7-Eleven locations in Los Angeles and San Diego counties in California.

The recall affects the following:

The 24-oz. "Cottage Hearth Stone Ground Wheat Bread," UPC# 0-41380-80625-7 with code date Mar. 26 (found on the plastic tab used to "close" the bag).
The 24-oz. "7 Select 100% Whole Wheat Bread," UPC# 52548-00181 with code date Mar. 26 (found on the plastic tab used to "close" the bag).
Consumers may return the product to the place of purchase for a refund. Consumers with questions may call the company at (323) 881-4045 and ask to speak with Mike Anthony.
