Mai's Bakery Issues Allergy Alert For Undeclared Eggs in Their Packages of "Hopia Mongo" and "Moon Cake" Products

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - March 24, 2011 - Mai's Bakery, Inc. of Monterey Park, CA. is recalling its listed "Hopia Mongo" and "Moon Cake" products because they may contain undeclared egg. People who have allergies to eggs run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The recalled packages of "Hopia Mongo" and "Moon Cake" products were distributed in Southern California and Utah Supermarkets. The products come in an 8 and 6 ounce, clear container and/or styrophone plate wrapped in clear plastic marked with Mai's Bakery sticker.
