PEANUT ALLERGY ALERT
Dec. 8, 2011

See's Candies, Inc. is recalling "Almond Clusters" due to undeclared peanuts.

The product was distributed to See's Holiday Gift Centers and Licensee locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

The product is sold individually in 8-oz. boxes and is identified by code SF 088/12, visible on the back of the box. This is the only code affected by this recall.

Consumers may return the product or the receipt to any See's Candies Shop or to the place of purchase for a refund or exchange. Consumers with questions may contact the company at (800) 789-7337.

Ahhhh... the Christmas season is truly upon us when we hear about the first of the annual See's recalls, isn't it?   ~)

I don't care WHAT they ever tell me, NOTHING from See's is remotely safe for anyone with milk, egg, or nut allergies.  Period.
