Title: GAPS Diet
Post by: Jemma2 on January 23, 2012, 01:54:47 PM
Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone has heard of or has experience with using the GAPS Diet.  I've been reading a lot about it lately.  I realize it's not something that would "work" with true anaphylactic and igE allergies.  But for those suffering from other types of intolerances or digestive problems, it might be worth looking into.

I have not heard of it, but I did take a look at the website. I was interested because my problem is definitely more like a leaky gut and my food issues are usually delayed as described. Unfortunately, it would not be a good match for me, since I'm a vegetarian and react most strongly to dairy. They seem to stress meat and dairy early in the GAPS diet - yech!
