Title: Brer Rabbit Molasses
Post by: pitter patter on April 01, 2012, 03:44:27 PM
Anyone safely use this?  It's not someting I ever use, but I am making Mongolian Beef, and the recipe calls for molasses.  We are TNA.

We have used it.  No info beyond that.

DD is TNA, PA and egg-allergic.  I'm SFA.

PA, it was safe when we used it. You could sub about any syrup sweetener you'd want TBH. Although it's probably asking you to use reg soy sauce plus molasses? That sounds like a sub for something called 'double black soy sauce' which has molasses in it as well as other things. Depends if you want that molasses flavor I guess.
