Title: India Tree
Post by: MarkiesMom on April 08, 2012, 10:11:39 PM
Anyone here trust India Tree?  Dealing with TNA only, but their website allergy statement isn't comforting:

Are India Tree products peanut and tree nut free?

None of our products contains peanuts or tree nuts as an ingredient, nor do we handle nuts in our plant. Some of our products are manufactured by suppliers who also process nuts in their facility. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that cross contact with peanuts never occurs at some point in the supply chain.

That's a pretty standard answer.  THey basically don't want it to come down on them if there is cross-contamination due to the suppliers.  Whether you use a company with that kind of statement comes down to your comfort zone.  Some do, some don't.

I use them all the time.  Called several years ago and was told no pn/tn/egg.  Hmmm.  We've never had a problem and we use them a lot.
