Title: Is there any safe salt-water taffy (or any taffy)?
Post by: Jessica on June 15, 2012, 12:58:36 AM
DD was asking about it today when she saw some (unsafe) salt water taffy at walmart. Unfortunately I told her all about Robertson's candy after I'd received an email saying they use no peanut or tree nut, and their 'safe' taffy which, it turns out, is not safe after all. So does anyone know about any that is safe for pa/tna?

If no one comes up with a national or regional brand you can get in your area I'll investigate my local shops. We have a lot of local artisan type confectionaries that have a high likelihood of not using nuts.

You can order from Taffy Tree if you want peanut/tree nut free. THey are in Utah, I think. They ship.
