Quote2114 severe anaphylaxis patients from 58 centres were included. 8% received adrenaline intravenously, 4% intramuscularly

8% received adrenaline intravenously?  Would that help at all?


ETA:  I think this article is about Germany, not US or Canada.

Yeah, it looks like it was from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

I was shocked at how low that was but remembered BeingHuman mentioning how much less it is recommended to use the Epi in the UK.

but what shocked me is twice as many received it intravenously then those that received it intramuscularly.  even in hospital, isn't it given intramuscular for anaphylaxis.

When I had Ana in December it was. Second dose.
