The USDA Needs to Hear from YOU About Nutrition in Schools

Right now, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking public comments about their new proposed nutrition standards for foods sold in à la carte lines, vending machines, school stores, and snack bars in schools, also known as competitive foods.  The American Heart Association strongly supports these updates, which would ensure all foods sold in schools follow consistent, stronger guidelines.  But the USDA needs to hear from supporters like YOU in order to be able to move forward with the recommendations.  Send a quick, personalized message today!  The comment period ends April 9th.

@USDA and @American_Heart as to USDA soliciting input regarding food "sold in schools"

"sold in schools" must be changed to "provided in schools"
