Post by: GoingNuts on February 23, 2014, 09:18:26 AM
Does anyone know of a source of pumpkin seeds that are not contaminated with peanuts, sesme or tree nuts?

Can you get Spitz?  They have safe pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds.  Not the candy coated though (which is done in a different place).

Are those in-shell or already shelled, Silver?

I have been searching for a source of already shelled pumpkin seeds for years.   :-/

The pumpkin seeds are in she'll....but I eat the shells.

The sunflower seeds are available shelled, but I can never find them.

You may find them locally.  I used to, but now that place repackages them from bulk.  They used to have sealed packages.  Maybe try Whole Paycheck.

Also check Dakota Gourmet. I'm not sure about sesame. We buy Gerbs from PFP too.

You can get them (pre-shelled) from Libre Naturals in small packages or in bulk.  We eat crazy amounts of these use their sunflower seeds to make our own Sunbutter.  Our family may also be addicted to their chocolate chips.

Top-11 and latex-free
