Title: Michigan trip
Post by: GingerPye on April 18, 2014, 10:47:55 AM
We've finally settled on where we'd like to go for a summer trip.  We'd like to see the Henry Ford museum and Greenfield Village.

Has anyone been there?   What is a good area to stay in, and of course places to eat .... and maybe another must-see in the area?

I'm trying to get a hotel pinned down in the next few days.  Have no clue what area to settle in.

Hello, have you made your way to HF/GFV?  I could give you a lot of advice if you still need it.  My son is allergic to PA/TN.  Please email if you would still like a list of places to visit and also possible areas to stay.

We made it there, and had good luck at the Henry Ford museum restaurant.  Ate there a couple of times.  Also ate at a restaurant in the Greenfield Village.  Both were good places for allergies, in our case.  IMMV
