Which basically confirms that any food can cause allergic reactions. Some are just more common than others. Still, an interesting read. I certainly haven't met anyone with broccoli allergy - yet!

DS outgrew* his broccoli allergy - he experienced throat itching and 3-4 random hives from it.

*Outgrew might not be the best term - his broccoli allergy went away with Xolair and has not come back even after being off of Xolair.  Other food allergies have come back - some worse than before.
