Now that Bimbo has bought out pretty much every supplier of bread in the universe, does anyone (U.S.) know of any safe buns for hot dogs/hamburgers?

You'd have to contact them to confirm safety for yourself, but this might be a possibility.

Weve used the Martin potato rolls for both hamburgers and hot dogs.

Kings Hawaiian makes some buns that can be used for hamburgers.
Me: Sesame, shellfish, chamomile, sage
DS: Peanuts

Hmmm. Martins now has a sesame bun. Sigh. Maybe u don't feel bad they are not available in Minnesota. But I haven't had a hot dog since moving here and would like one.

Martins has had a warning for sesame for quite awhile here.

Bugger.

Does anyone know if the Kings Hawaiian actual hamburger rolls are safe. On the website, it lists others as safe but doesn't specifically include the hamburger rolls. I am wondering if the hamburger rolls are new but also safe.

Wanted to add the link. I think the hamburger buns would be included with the other Original sweet products, now that I look at it again. I have the buns and haven't used them for my dd yet.

If you live in the midwest, I have checked w/ Pan O Gold bakeries and they do not have any peanuts or tree nuts.  Do believe they have sesame seeds though.

They are not specifically for hot dogs and hamburgers but Bernadinos bakery in parts of New England has long rolls and round buns.

I recommend contacting companies and asking and not going by whether or not you see any products by them containing sesame.  Most all bread products in the USA are shared equip sesame.  If you call and find any that for sure are OK please post here!

I called Kings Hawaiian to confirm that their buns are nut free. We don't have to worry about sesame, but she said all of their buns and breads have the same ingredients. They are a little sweet for me, but my daughter actually ate a bit of burger bc she loved the bun. She doesn't always eat burgers, so that was good. :)
