I think it's important to note the issue did not start in the USA - nut contaminated cumin was originally caught by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and then more cumin contamination was caught by a US food company.  Later, the U.K. Food Standards Agency identified contaminated paprika.  In all instances, the spice contamination started in the country of origin or at some point along the journey via Turkey (N. American recalls) and Scandinavia (European recalls).
TX - USA
DS - peanut, tree nut, milk, eggs, corn, soy, several meds, many environmentals. Finally back on Xolair!
DD - mystery anaphylaxis, shellfish.
DH - banana/avocado, aspirin.  Asthma.
Me - peanut, tree nut, shellfish, banana/avocado/latex,  some meds.
