I thought I had posted this earlier, when I first discovered this small Canadian company, but guess not. Three Farmers makes roasted lentils, chickpeas, and peas in a variety of flavours. Their facility is completely top-10-free, and their transparency with ingredients and manufacturing is excellent.
When I first tried these snacks I sent the company an email asking about allergen information and they advised me to only have the sea salt flavours because the company that makes the flavour mix uses potato, and they weren't confident the seasoning they get would be safe. Great. I also mentioned that the 'nut-free' symbol they were using was misleading and the gold standard was a free from facility statement.
Well, guess what? They listened!! They updated their packaging to clarify the nut-free logo to include peanuts AND they added a free from facility statement. Wow! Constructive feedback really works!!
They aren't 100% there just yet, the free from statement says 'allergen free' which we all know doesn't exist, but it's a huge step in the right direction. I sent them an email praising them for the positive changes. (I won't mention the allergen free statement just yet...)

It's wonderful when companies listen and truly care. (And make safe and yummy whole food snacks.)
