Polish and German = how to communicate allergies

Any travelers have a sense of how to say, "I am allergic to nuts and shellfish" in Polish and/or German?

We traveled to Poland a few years ago and found very little food allergy awareness there. Fortunately with the exception of desserts (which he never eats out anyway), my son's allergens are not commonly found in Polish food.
