Received this from them.   :)

Good morning:

Thank you for your inquiry and your interest in our products.

All of our products and our facility and equipment are completely allergen-free.

This includes tree nuts, peanuts, shellfish, soy, dairy, and all the major recognized allergens.

You can find more information on our website https://nielsenmassey.com/faq/

They have so many vanilla varieties, too, which look divine. I wish their extracts were alcohol-free.

I'm confused GN.

Under their FAQ about Dietary Needs and Certifications it says:

Are your products and facility Allergen-Free?
Yes, our products and facility are allergen free. Our entire team undergoes allergen training, and we monitor incoming and outgoing shipments for possible contamination.

According to the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America, dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and shellfish are responsible for 90% of allergic reactions. Nielsen-Massey products and our facility are free of all these potential allergens. This includes our Pure Almond Extract, which is nut free because it consists of bitter almond oil derived from stone fruit pits.

Had you asked about a specific allergen?

How is that confusing?  The FAQ you quoted also says their facility is free from the top-8 allergens.

I had asked about peanuts and tree nuts.  I've been using their vanilla for years (cha-ching - very expensive but worth it when you need real vanilla flavor) but was asking about their coffee extract.  I want to use it to play around with a White Russian ice cream; I don't know of any safe coffee liquers.

Got it.  I obviously didn't pay that much attention.   :dunce:

So, it's not just me. The answer is positive....honestly, I thought it wasn't and it was scaring me because I couldn't understand why.

But...it's basically like an autocorrect or typo.
