Simmons’ Barbecue, Inc. is recalling approximately 4,680 pounds of “Simmons’ BARBECUE, INC. Bar-be-cue Pork With Sauce” and “Simmons’ BARBECUE, INC. Bar-be-cue Pork With Thick Sauce” due to undeclared milk.
The product was shipped to wholesalers that distributed to restaurants in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
The product comes in 5-lb. vacuum sealed packages, each of which bear the establishment number “19523” inside the USDA mark of inspection, as well as a packaging date between Nov. 30, 2010 and Feb. 8, 2011.
