Taking A Moment to Be Thankful
« on: September 23, 2011, 11:56:57 AM »
So my littlest has multiple LTA.  Her friend is having a bday party but has no LTA.  The mom calls me and asks what kind of pizza is safe.  I told her.  Then asks what bakery I use because she wants to make every part of the party safe just for my little one!!!  She's done this the last 2 years in a row!!!!  I keep telling her I can bring a cupcake but she insist that my little one "is a guest in her home and we accommodate guests"!!!! <3 <3

It's her dd's bday but she's not getting her dd's fave foods.  She's getting what mine can eat and I love her for that.  It'll be one of those rare parties I don't have to stress about.  Yay :)  ;D

I just love those types of people! The ones that get it better then some family!  So lucky to find those!

Not only do I not know what's going on, I wouldn't know what to do about it if I did.

It just makes me tear up when I realize that I can actually focus on telling friends like these how APPRECIATIVE I am of their unconditional affection for my family.

I love showing how much our good friends mean to us.

I think this is another gift that LTFA gives us.  We know when we have friends that truly love us enough to put us ahead of-- well, food.

What a wonderful friend!  I hope that you all have a terrific time.
