Thought I'd review the VNF Tanabars...since I've finally been able to try them!

1. Too expensive - they were just over $2.50/bar in the grocery store.
2. However, they are the best camping meal replacement type bar I've run across that I didn't have to make myself and wonder about the nutritional content. Sunflower/choc chip one: 7g protein, 9g fat, 4g dietary fiber, 22g sugar and 260 calories. I'd buy some for "emergency" food I think, alternate camping food, etc. but they will NOT be a regular item in my snack list.
3. Tasty - not too sweet. "Chewy granola bar" my left-___ They fell apart, were more like a rice crispy treat type "bite" --- but were not crunchy like hard granola bars.
4. I think the berry one had more flavor :)

I'd like to find out the expiration date...this had none.
