This is the list I have in my resource binder and the list I give to grandparents or anyone else that could be in charge of my kids.

This is the list we use--there maybe a better list somewhere else--but just to get started. I started this list around 7 years ago and try to update yearly (but I don't usually take off names-just add)

My children are allergic to both peanuts and tree nuts--older DS is contact and very sensitive--younger DS has so far only been reactive to ingestion of a tree nut.

Here's the other list I needed.

Thanks so much you have made my job easier.

The cook in dd school this year is new. I have a feeling he'll be overwhelmed.

Thanks for the list. I didn't recognize what some of them were, so I looked up on Wikipedia.

Maybe I missed it, but why the concern about methylcellulose? According to wiki, it is just a chemical compound that is nonallergenic. It also appears to be in lots of things.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methylcellulose

Also, hydroxypropyl. Couldn't find anything 'alarming' about it.

And when I looked up food additive #322 on Wiki, I found a list of what the numbers are, and #322 falls into the antioxidants and acidity regulators 'lactose'

Because I read all of our labels, I am curious to know what is bad for PN allergies with these ingredients. And it means I need to re check everything in my house. (trying not to panic)

I'll have to figure out where I got those for my list.

I should have written it done with my list---

And I'll admit--once I found something--I don't go back and take it off the list--and keep researching it-- but this has been 7 years--maybe it is time.

If you can find out, thanks. I just panic when I realize I may have missed something.

I do appreciate that list, though!

Well--so far what I have found that these words were listed on the other site as possible peanut sources.

However--no one ever said where the informaiton was from.

As far as I can tell--Food Additive #322---is the number for lecithin-so I am guessing it was listed because of the possibility of not knowing.

And I agree I am not finding much on Hydroxylpropyl or
Methylcellulose

But together they make eye drops!--

Sorry to turn you into panic mode--

I could not find any of these listed on any other list--except in some threads in the other sites. I checked several books and other places online--

I guess it is time to remove them from the list.--I will look around some more tomorrow--not to take this off topic--(I can edit later) but I had to start looking into Crohns disease today for my youngest--and I was at the hospital too long today.
