Deep Fryers

We are planning to replace our deep fryer within the next few months.

What kind do you have? Do you recommend it?

I'm thinking a removable pan might be good.

I have never had one, but always talk about it with the kids.  I would only do small things, like a few fun munchies for the kids, or the occasional fish, maybe try fried dough or donuts once in awhile, so do not want to spend much or have something bulky and awkward to store.

Everything I considered has some bad reviews, but htis one has a great majority of 4 and mostly 5 star reviews.

After reviewing, I am thinking of this:

What kind are you replacing, SL?

My MIL has the Fry Daddy Junior - I also bought one for her sister.  When they use it, they are pleased with it.  Though my MIL does most of her frying now in the electric wok now.
