Hi All,

I used to be on another allergy board and was there for a number of years but stopped...don't even remember why.
With Lauren off to college this past September, I found myself back at "the old allergy board" looking to catch-up - to make sure I wasn't dropping the ball...forgetting something. Not the site I remember at all. I don't post much as there isn't much going on.

Someone sent me a message to let me know this site existed.

So very happy to see so many familar names. Can't wait to catch up.

Hope everyone is well, happy and safe.

Andrea ;D

It's great to see you again!

My daughter is also at college this fall-- it's quite an adventure, isn't it??

LaurensMom,

Tickled pink that you found us here after all this time.

:smooch:

Some of us have same / similar usernames as before and others went for change with our move(s).

We're so glad you are here!

Your input so far as college experiences with LTFA (life-threatening food allergy) would be helpful . . .
as would "lessons learned" from an "older" LTFA parent . . . start a thread or find a thread to put you hard-won knowledge into!

Please stick around!

welcome back.   :bye:

I went by a different name then.

CMdeux

My name was different then, as well-- it included my geographic location, which is now far too identifying.

SilverLining, Becca, CMdeux - so good to see you too! You guys all got me through some of the toughest times of my life so as corny as it may seem, it really is just like coming home.

ajasfolks2 - I will do that tonight - start a college experience thread. You will not believe the things I have been through and have had to fight. I don't want anyone fighting the pure ignorance that's out there. It just quadruples the emotional aspect of sending one's child off to school. I'll get into more later but in short - all is good now. CMdeux - curious to know how your experience went.

Thanks for the welcome!!

GoingNuts

Hi LaurensMom!  My guy is off to college too - he's a junior. In fact, we are visiting him this weekend.

Glad you've rejoined us!
