That list is from my website.  It was originally on Natural and Free, but it is now on my new site, Caring Foodie.  It has been updated.  To view it, you can go to CaringFoodie (dot) blogspot (dot) com and look at the "Alternative Names for Soy and Soy-Free Foods List" page.

If the list sounds like you're reading a list of chemicals off a pesticide or toxic product, don't eat it.  We accept this because we have always seen this,  and make the assumption that it is perfectly safe.  Well the FDA, after decades of refusals to Monsanto, finally OK Aspartame (political pressure).  The FDA and EPA are responsible for allowing many toxic products on the market, when they are there to keep dangerous products off the market, in order protect the environment.  Finally, they couldn't hide from the fact of their products toxicity when Bayer's insecticides started killing bees by the millions, if not billions, and Monsanto killing all of the Milkweed,  so the Monarch Butterflies are dying due to starvation.  Yes, Monsanto says all of their products are safe, just like they swore to the government that AGENT ORANGE was safe.

That list is unreliable.  A number of the non-starred items do not contain soy.
